Veg Goanese Curry
This dish is simple and easy to make.
Ingredients
- 3-4 Boiled Potatoes
- 1 cup Boiled Peas
- 1 tbsp Ghee
For Spices Paste
- 4-5 Dry Kashmiri Red Chillies
- 4 Cloves
- ½ inch Cinnamon Stick
- 2 tbsp Dry Coriander Seeds
- 1 tbsp Peppercone
- 3-4 tbsp Dry Coconut Desiccated
- 2 tbsp Khus Khus seeds (soaked)
- ½ tsp Red Chilli Powder
- ½ tsp Tumeric Powder
- 1 Onion (diced)
- Salt to Taste
For Garnish
- 2 tsp coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1 cup Fresh Cream
Instructions
Step 1
- Roast all the dry spices paste ingredients on a medium flame and grind it into a smooth paste using little water.
Step 2
- Heat a pan add 1 tbsp ghee add boiled potatoes(cut into haves) till golden brown and keep it aside,in a same pan add tomato and onion paste,saute it for sometime,add 2 tbsp spices paste saute for a while, add golden brown potatoes saute on a medium flame finally add boiled peas and let it cook for sometime,add little salt if required.Garnish with fresh cream and coriander leaves.
