Gathiya Nu Shaak
Ingredients
For the Gathiya
- 3 tbsp Besan
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- ½ tsp Asafoetida
- ½ tsp Turmeric
- 3 tbsp Curd
- Salt to Taste
For the Gravy
- 1 tbsp Besan
- 4 tbsp Curd
- 2 cups Water
For the Tadka
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
Instructions
Step 1
- In a pan add besan and yogurt and whisk it properly so that no lumps are formed add water and keep aside.
Step 2
- Now in a tadka pan add oil,cumin seeds let it splutter then and red chilli powder directly add to the besan gravy,let it come to a boil.
Step 3
- In a bowl add besan, red chilli powder, turmeric, salt, asafoetida and yogurt and make a thick paste.
Step 4
- Take a serving spoon with holes spread the thick besan mixture directly in the gravy.Let it cook for sometime and serve hot with rotis.
