This recipe is a wholesome meal which can be easily prepared for dinner also can be included during a weightloss diet program.Along with the seasonal vegetables like broccoli, spinach, cauliflower, mushrooms, red and yellow bell peppers, carrots and french beans this dish also has jalapenos because it not only enhances this dish flavor but is also healthy due to presence of capsaicin.
Capsaicin is not only considered an anti-inflammatory but is also a vasodilator, meaning it promotes healthy flow of blood in the body. Capsaicin has been used as a cure for various type of arthritis pain, nerve pain and even dermatological conditions.
Best way to cook broccoli sprouts without losing its nutrients is to steam it as steamed broccoli may be one of the healthiest ways to cook broccoli because it’s quick and nutrients and vitamins won’t be lost in the cooking water, as can be the case with boiled broccoli.
To boil, place in a pan of boiling water and cook the florets for 6-8 minutes. To steam, place in a steamer over boiling water and cook for 6-8 minutes. Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Spinach (blanched)
  • 1 bowl Broccoli, Cauliflower Florets, French Beans & Carrots (par-boiled)
  • 1 bowl Mushrooms (chopped)
  • 1 bowl Cabbage (cubed)
  • 1 bowl Onions (cubed)
  • 1 bowl Red Bell Pepper (cubed)
  • 2 tsp Black Olives (sliced)
  • 2 tsp Jalapenos (sliced)
  • 1/4 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Bread Seasoning
  • 10 cloves Garlic (crushed)
  • 2 slices Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt to Taste

Instructions
 

Step 1

  • Heat a pan add olive oil.Add crushed garlic saute it for a while on medium heat.

Step 2

  • Add chopped mushrooms, red bell peppers, cabbage, onions, spinach & boiled vegetables saute for few minutes and keep tossing occasionally.

Step 3

  • Add red chilli flakes, garlic bread seasoning, salt followed by sliced black olives and jalapenos.

Step 4

  • Turn off the flame take out in a serving bowl garnish it with cheese slices and more jalapenos if you want it spices.

Step 5

  • Microwave for a minute and serve hot.
